Skirts for Fall & Winter

Welcome to my fall & winter collection of favorite skirts, purchased from Amazon :).

I will be sharing my TOP favorites with you. "Nothing but the best for you"....Frank Sinatra's song is playing in my head now :).

It takes quite a bit of time and intention to find the very best items on Amazon. My husband will tell you that I spend plenty of time returning items that do not meet my quality standards- *which continue to rise.... shrug, what can I say?

Quality over quantity is my motto :).

I remember when I did not know how to dress in the wintertime. (We are located in Michigan). It was too cold, dark, depressing to figure it out. I did not feel beautiful the entire season long. Then one day, I discovered fleece lined leggings. This coincided with a promise to myself that I would only wear dresses, skirts or heels for an entire year. This was such a fun experiment! I learned & grew so much and now I LOVE fall & winter fashion. (Summer is actually more challenging for me & my wardrobe).

Many of my outfits are predominately second-hand or thrifted, and one day they will be almost exclusively custom-made. For now, almost anything that I own that is retail or storebought in my wardrobe is from Amazon or Marshalls.

If it brings me joy; makes my life easier; makes me feel beautiful- you can bet that I will be posting it here for you to also reap the benefits from!

Remember the playbook for avoiding buyer's remorse & a dead wardrobes:

Rule #1: If it doesn't spark joy, don't buy it.
Rule#2: If you like it but don't LOVE it, don't buy it.
Rule #3: If you don't want to wear it out of the store or put it on tomorrow morning, don't buy it.
Rule #4: If you take a lap around the store and don't continue thinking about it, don't buy it.

Flip these rules opposite for the rules on WHEN to say 'yes' to a purchase that will bring you evergreen joy and improve your quality of life in the simplest way :).
